About Me

About meHi there, I’m Chris and I was a serial worrier who seems to never have time for myself or my family.  I spent a lot of my life just surviving, you know, just doing the standard: wake up go to work, come home, eat, watch tv, sleep.  Serious problem. I have children and for the first couple of years of their lives, I barely saw them. This was not good at all.  I desperately wanted to provide them with the best but was missing out on some important moments and decided that things had to change. I knew that they wanted me to be there too. I read the words, saw the videos, listened to the audio but never took action.  It left me stressed that “others have all the luck” and thought “that’s just the way it is”.  When people asked me why I worked in a job that I didn’t like I used the same old excuse “well it pays the bills”.  It was affecting me physically, mentally and socially until one day I decided that enough was enough and I needed a way out.  Like many of you who are reading this,  I had to find out how I could find a balance between my life and my work.

This was me trying to look really happy.

My journey

At the time I really thought I looked happy.  It was a special meal on a rare night out.  I look back now and can’t believe it.  My work life was crazy, at the worst point I was working up to 90 hours per week.

So what did I do next? I researched ways to make money, either in a better-paid job or as a second job but working from home.  I looked at MLM, internet marketing, social networks, online marketing, shares, and even Ponzi schemes (where you earn money by getting others to sign up to the scheme).  I also took the step to find out what I could do with my stress levels and my health.  Over the next few years, I read about 50 books about health, exercise ( and started some sports), wellbeing, CBT, NLP, mindfulness, met with doctors and psychiatrists.  I even did some courses in psychology,  mental health and the law of attraction.  It became a new found passion to not just break free, I had to become the best that I can be.  It was good to find out the information but difficult to take action.  I made the leap and did it.  Best choice ever. I have tried many different things and have now found the things that work for me.

This has been an amazing journey. I broke free and I am now living a happier, healthier life and want to share my findings with all those who need that push to do the same and be the best that they can be and be living a totally awesome life on their terms.

Most of my success, I believe, is from the personal health and wellbeing side so you will see more posts like this on this blog.  If you have any questions about the other things please don’t hesitate to leave a question below or request things that you would like me to write about.
