Deciding isn’t enough

If you have been following this blog you will have read about finding your path. Great you have found your path and you have decided which way to go and believe that it is the way to go and that it will lead to a better life.  So what is stopping you from walking the path that you have found?  It is not enough to just decide, you need to commit to following your path.  A book I found useful in answering this question is called just that “What’s Stopping You” by Robert Kelsey.  He says that it is not the path or the decision that is the problem it is the fear of failure that stops us from succeeding in our goals.

As I said in my previous post, the path can be hard and can be difficult to follow.  It may have twists and turns, it may have wrong turns and hazards.  You shouldn’t be afraid to try.  You need to commit to following your dreams regardless of what happens along the way.  The following image shows the amount of belief and commitment you need to succeed.  Think about it, how much do you want to have a better life?

Hi, I was born in England and trained as a teacher, tried sales, and management then returned to my first love of teaching. In the evenings I am a self employed karaoke DJ. I love to teach and coach others to improve their lives and be their best.
