They go out and meet actual people rather than live their lives on line and take time in getting to know others and being there for them when needed. They make an effort to a valuable member of the community. We all appreciate a good friend or colleague, be that person.

Sometimes people just need to talk and be listened to. It is said that when you are a good listener it works on an 80-20 rule. You listen 80% of the time and only talk for 20% of the time. Often people want to use you as a sounding board and get things off their chect, the “need to tell someone about it” whatever that is. They often don’t need answers at all but feel better having told someone how they feel.
They give money to others
Think about Christmas (or any other celebration) time or someone’s birthday. We feel good when we give presents, sometimes we are more excited to see another person’s reaction to what we bought than the presents we got ourselves.
They don’t worry about time
You can get very stressed by clock watching. Sometimes we do need to be somewhere on time, but we don’t have to start woorrying about it days before. Sometimes you can look at you watch less and just do your best and get there when you can. There is always a chance that there will be delays but if they are out of your control. If you are stuck in traffic you can’t make the cars move faster and usually the person you are meeting will understand and there is quite often a later bus,train, show later. Spend the time playing a game or singing a song or dreaming about your ideal future.
Happier people are often happier because they feel good about their bodies. They are able to move freely and are strong enough to do the things they need to without struggling.

Some days you can afford a little more time to yourself. Feels good to lie in. Get extra sleep. If you need to get up early try going to bed early. If you want to feel like you’ve had a lie in maybe you can set your alarm earlier so you can lie in for the extra 10 minutes after it goes off.
They walk the walk
They are confident enough to be the person they say they are. If you give advice about something, show that you do it. They walk proud and tall and show the world who they are. If you like wearing bright colours, use them. If you like to sing, sing. You may look ridiculous to some people or sing badly. All that shows is their outlook not yours, friends will love you for who you are, forget the others you’ll probably never see most of them again anyway.
